SEEP INTO THE DIRT AND FEED THE EARTH

       SEEP INTO THE DIRT AND FEED THE EARTH is a twenty image photo series combining digital and slow photo processes. Chapter 1: I was detached, uncoupled from my body is compiled of digital images which were printed as cyanotypes on top of book pages with found text and image. Chapter 2: And then she squeezed me so hard I forgot how to breath. is digital image coupled with layerings of hand written text. Chapter 3: Overwhelmed by the warmth of feeling alive again ties the series off with just digital image. 

       This photo series is about the division and separation of the body with the mind. Each image delves into the feelings of loss and being lost, as well as feeling like there is nothing tethering oneself to reality. The images come from our own natural environment, presented in abstract and unreal ways.
